Starting nearly a decade ago in Chapel Hill, Poor Pie has gone through changes in genre and lineups. Throughout the years, Poor Pie has gone through jangly pop, punk rock, and psychedelic rock shifts. With singer, guitarist, and songwriter, Ryan Hurley, it has always been about having fun writing and performing music, whether it is for Poor Pie or solo. We are thankful for everything we’ve done so far, playing across NC, receiving local radio play, and the chance to be a small part of the awesome Triangle music scene over the years. Currently, only playing solo shows with a mix of originals and covers, Poor Pie is now the outlet of home music production and songwriting.
